This Friday, at 7:30pm in the main gallery of the BAC (513 Manitou Avenue), the Colorado Springs Writers Reading Series will be hosting three featured readers– yes, three! Tim Christian, Michael Ferguson, and M.R. Hyde will be sharing brief selections of their work. It’ll be a fiction extravaganza! Because this is a change of pace (we’ll return to the regular single-author schedule in January), the Open Mic list will be limited to three readers maximum. So, if you’d like to read 3-5 minutes of work during that portion, get there early to sign up!
Guests can also bring baked goods and sweets to share, as well as a small monetary donation, which pays for the Writers Reading Series to use the venue.
I hope to sign up for one of the coveted three spots. I am entertaining notions of reading poetry, or, of a race-horse. We’ll see.
